Hi, I'm Ellie and I am currently studying Media Communications and Writing at Glyndwr University in North Wales.
As a 'writer', and I use the term lightly, I find the journey to become published daunting. Alongside this, I find reading the works of others fascinating.
I do not have a prefrence to a genre, or indeed consider myself a critic. I am a book worm, plain and simple. I will read anything that is passed onto me.
I do not buy texts, preferring a book to have well read pages. However, I shy away from texts that are said to be 'really good.' To many peoples dismay, I am one of the few people that have not read Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, or even The Da Vinci Code.
Quite simply, I like to discover a text for myself.
In terms of my own writing, just as with what I read, I write for all genres. My style tends to lend itself to crime, and for children, teenage boys fiction.
